Shining Bright All Year Long!

The Westchase Elementary PTA is dedicated to supporting every student, teacher, and family all year long. One of the things we’re most proud is the way our PTA gives back not just to our own school, but to the greater community as well. Through fundraising, events, and hands-on service, we bring our mission to life and help make Westchase Elementary SO Bright.

Here’s how we made an impact in the 2024-2025 school year:

Academic & Student Enrichment

  • Wizard Fest 
    • Our biggest fundraiser of the year! All net proceeds go right back to teachers for classroom enhancements and student experiences
  • SSYRA Program
    • We help fund the Sunshine State Young Readers Award program to promote a love of reading across all grade levels
  • Media Center Book Replacement 
  • Book Vending Machine Refills
  • Character Kids Breakfast 
  • Rock Your School Day
  • National Oreo Day & Gummi Bear Day 
    • Every student received a sweet surprise

Staff & Teacher Appreciation

  • Back-to-School Teacher Luncheon
  • Monthly Staff Appreciation
    • From coffee carts to conference night meals there’s something special every month
  • 12 Days of Westchase
    • Holiday-themed appreciation in December
  • Staff Appreciation Week (Spring)
  • National Holiday Recognition
    • Celebrating principals, custodians, bus drivers, nurses, and more
  • Teacher of the Month
    • Monthly flowers and lunch for selected teachers
  • Stock the Teacher’s Lounge

Community Events & Family Fun

  • Daughter Date Night & Son Plus One 
    • Free, memory-making events for students and their special guest
  • Bowling Night (PTA Members Only) 
  • Veterans Day Program
  • Elementary School Donation 
    • Proceeds from our Holiday Shop help fund Teacher Appreciation Week at a local Title I school without a PTA

    • Celebrates the top PTA membership class per grade
