Wizard Walk

September 19, 2025

Our School’s Biggest Fundraiser of the Year!

Wizard Walk is Westchase Elementary’s primary fundraiser, and it powers so many amazing things for our students! From the covered P.E. court to our STEM Lab, new books for the Book Vending Machine, PBIS prizes, turf field, snow cones, and more. Every dollar raised goes right back into our school to benefit our Wizards.

Here’s the key:
Funds are distributed directly by the school not the PTA.
But the PTA is here every step of the way, supporting with volunteers, events, and community spirit. That’s what working together is all about!

How You Can Help:

  1. Register Your Student
    👉 www.getmovinfundhub.com/register
    (School ID: 5d4ad31ba7af4)
  2. Donate
  • Send cash or check (payable to Westchase Elementary) in an envelope marked WW with your child’s name/teacher.
  • Or donate online at Get Movin’ Fund Hub.
  1. Share Your Student’s Page
Send it to family and friends via text, email, and social media!

Why It Matters:

This year, we’re raising $60,000 to fund:

  • Common space upkeep and renovations
  • PBIS incentives like lunchroom point competitions, Character Kid Breakfasts, and quarterly Student PBIS Bashes
  • New spaces and games for Recess/TDPE
  • Educational Subscriptions for our students (BrainPOP, Flocabulary, Generation Genius, and more)
  • Book Vending Machine refills
  • A new Sensory Room
  • Celebrations for student success
  • Support for teachers and school-wide events that build community

Every dollar helps our Wizards shine brighter!

What is PBIS?

PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a school-wide program that encourages positive choices by recognizing students who show responsibility, kindness, respect, and leadership.

How We Celebrate at Westchase:
Each month, students are nominated and voted on by their peers for showing strong character. These students are then recognized at our Character Kid Breakfast, where they are celebrated with their classmates, staff, and families for being role models in our Wizard community.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2024 Wizard Walk!
